GUIDED SPIN FISHING

Light tackle spin fishing for trout in the South Island is as good as it gets; whether you've never caught a trout before and you just know this would be the perfect place to do it, or maybe you've heard about Twizel and are specifically targeting a canal monster trout; maybe its just your turn to spin for trout in the wondrous locations only New Zealand can offer!

We'll fish the rivers and tributaries tactically covering water in all the prime locations, or stalking and sight fishing to trout cruising the spectacularly clear lake edges. Whatever the location, you'll become a trout hunter for the duration of your guided trip, and we can assure you'll never look at freshwater river or lake the same way again! Trout on surface lures?...yes we can!!

 
 

FULL DAY TRIP; 1-2 ANGLERS $950 PER DAY

For a lakes and/or river day trip based out of Lumsden or Gore, Southland our service includes:

  • full professional guidance

  • wholesome homemade lunch, snacks, water - please bring your reusable water bottle

  • use of quality spin rods and reels

  • waders and boots if required

  • all terminal tackle - Lures, leader etc. 

full day trip; 3 anglers $1,100 per day

All of the above is included, except we'll be catering for you and two of your fishing sidekicks! 

FULL DAY TRIP; 4 anglers $1,200 per day

Everything noted above is included, except you'll have the privilege of two guides for showing you the ropes and fishing with you for the day. There'll also be more food catering - obviously!
